Prater Insurance Agency is a small family business in Tulsa that is backed by one of America’s largest insurance companies: Farmers Insurance. We offer Auto Insurance, Home Insurance,  Life Insurance, Commercial Insurance, Financial products and Recreational Vehicle Insurance.

The Prater Agency began in 1973 when our father Dale was looking for a new way to support his young family . My brother Bryson worked with dad from 1995 until 2013. I went another path but ended up in Insurance doing Catastrophe Claims for 12 years prior to taking over the agency in 2018.  The Prater Agency is anchored by our long time employee Teresa who has over 20 years in Insurance Customer Service.  We are proud of our Insurance past and are excited about our future with Farmers.  Many things have changed in Insurance in the last 47 years, but our commitment to customer service has not.
